One side features a light background, while the other has a dark background, providing optimal contrast for fabrics of varying colors. 

• The mat includes one-inch lines with two sets of corresponding numbers placed around its perimeter, readable from both left to right and right to left.
• This design ensures you never lose your place or need to count backward during measurements. 
• Additional features include 1/8", 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" markings, as well as multiple angle lines at 30°, 45°, and 60°, facilitating accurate bias cuts and various quilting techniques.
